Warning: Bikes equipped with the SC-E8000 display are not compatible with STRide App as Shimano did not include telemetry output via Bluetooth on this device.

The STRide App is specifically designed to capture cycling sessions on Shimano STePS E-bikes, offering support for the EP801, EP600, EP8, E8000, E7000, E6100, and E5000 motors. The application allows for connectivity to external Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) sensors via Bluetooth, providing detailed data such as Speed, Cadence, Assist mode and level, Battery status, Range, Di2 information (gear specifics), Distance, GPS coordinates, HRM readings, Acceleration data, and Altitude metrics from the Barometer sensor.

One of the key features of the STRide App is its functionality to review and analyze saved cycling sessions. Users can export their recorded rides in GPX and FIT file formats for seamless integration with platforms like STRAVA and other relevant applications through the app's built-in services.

The STRide App ensures precise tracking of real-time Speed and Distance by employing correction factors for accurate results. Additionally, the application offers integration with Apple Watch to allow control of the app, monitor Heart Rate directly from the watch, and display essential parameters. It also provides Health App integration for comprehensive fitness data management.
